About Me

I'm Deb — a builder, a connector, and a believer in the power of showing up.

I’ve spent my life at the intersection of community, opportunity, and resilience. Some of that work has happened in boardrooms and city halls; some of it on dusty roads and across kitchen tables in East Africa, where I learned firsthand that real leadership has little to do with titles — and everything to do with heart, grit, and presence.

My journey hasn’t been linear. It’s been full of unexpected turns, hard lessons, deep conversations, and moments that demanded more of me than I thought I could give. All of it shaped how I see the world — and how I work to build something better within it.

This blog is a place where I take the lid off.
A place for the honest, messy, unfinished stories that usually stay hidden.
It’s not about easy lessons or perfect conclusions — it’s about the raw materials of becoming.

If you're someone who's tired of polished façades and hungry for something real — welcome.
You're in the right place.
